The Venture Capital Institute (VCI) is an intense, four-day, in-residence program taught by experienced venture and private equity fund managers and industry professionals who are recognized experts in their fields and committed to sharing their knowledge and experiences.

The Institute is refined and improved each year to reflect changes in investment strategies and cyclical industry conditions. Using lectures, case studies, written outlines, and reference materials covering all key elements of the direct venture and later stage investing process, the curriculum offers fresh, innovative techniques for executing effective due diligence; difficult ethical considerations; elements of pricing, structuring, and negotiating deals; preparing profitable exit strategies; and understanding current tax and legal issues affecting investments. The 36th Annual Venture Capital Institute will be held September 27-30, 2010 at the Emory Conference Center in Atlanta, GA.

WHEN SHOULD YOU ARRIVE/DEPART?
The formal program begins at 6:00 p.m. and the Optional Sessions at 3:00 p.m., on Monday, September 27. The Institute ends at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 30. Airline reservations should be made to Atlanta's Hartsfield Airport (ATL). Allow a minimum of one hour of ground travel to and from the Emory Conference Center. Ground transportation options will be sent to all registrants later.
