Communications & Public Relations

A key ingredient in NASBIC's success has been its commitment to communicating—with its members, with its prospective members, with the small business community, and with the public.

Through NASBIC publications, the association keeps members informed about current aspects of the SBIC industry and significant small business issues. NASBIC provides invaluable reference materials for SBICs and their potential clients.

News releases and statements to the media are another aspect of NASBIC's communications. By serving as spokesperson for the industry, the Association presents the SBIC story in a positive vein and attempts to offset unfair coverage.

Highlighting portfolio companies in our success stories section offers members a way to get information out to the public and to the media. For the convenience of NASBIC members, certain materials and resources are offered on-line in the MEMBERS ONLY portion of the NASBIC website.

NASBIC also works with its members on their marketing efforts and provides speakers for business groups, service clubs, and educational institutions.
